Hello I have a Norwegian Våpenkort and am Travelling via Denmark to Sweden for a Hunt. I have registered my Shotgun with the Swedish Authorities and wonder if I must do the same in Denmark?I am landing in Kobenhavn and taking the Train to Sweden. I would be in Denmark for one hour.

You should be ok. Armed only with my European Firearms Pass I have successfully evaded apprehension numerous times in the last 10 years or so

I would nonetheless check with the authorities in Denmark... and get it in writing. While transiting through their this year, on way to Greenland, no issues on way in... but getting out was a pain in the a*re. The person there didn't know the regulations and it almost ended badly; was only saved by my flight being delayed and then an airline person coming in to help. I suggest always having the relevant regulations, national and airlines, printed with you whenever you travel with firearms, saves a lot of arguing with airport/airline staff that don't know what the real rules are. You can supposedly meet the same requirements in Denmark as there is in Sweden, with the weapons and ammo, a customs declaration upon arrival and departure because you come from a country outside the EU. Normally this will be completed upon receipt of weapons in the airport (and takes some of your precious time). To travel with weapons in the EU usually requires only the blue weapon passport and preferably an invitation from the place where you're going hunting, so that evidence indicates a purpose to travel with weapons. Here is the site used for Declaration of weapon, via the Internet for import into Sweden Declaration of weapon into Sweden I can not find an equivalent for Denmark, but I have found that apparently several Norwegians not Declare customs when traveling through Denmark by car.

when we ve been in Sweden we travelled across Denmark of course but i asked and got a letter from Embassy and we never got any paper to filled out ... but it was in 2004 .... on the side note in the place we where we met some norwegian guys and they told me that there is a agreement between Denmark, Sweden and Norway since a long time but seems that now you got paper but i think it s better to check with main Danish police or justice to be sure and as suggested before get a written answer. all the best.
