Howdy folks,

I ordered some pants last year from Laksen and I ended up with what I thought would be the right size, but was way to skinnny for me in the butt and crotch and thighs.

I am 180 cm and weigh 105 kg. 5'11 and 245, and have a 41-ish inch waist.

I bought a 54 but no-worky. What's the deal with the 25, 26, 27, 28, sizes? Are they for us fat kids?

Hello D99, I'm by no means all that knowledgeable on this subject, but it was my impression that the 20's were for short people and the 50s for taller people. Then the bigger you go the bigger the waist.

I'd guess you need about a 58. Cool

Waidmannsheil, Dom.

Steve,

Come on. I live in Sicily. I have never even seen a shirt that would fit me in any store here. Let alone pants, shoes, or anything else.

Sicily has to have the smallest people in Europe.

I'll be in Germany in December. If I have enough of a layover in Frankfurt I will run around the corner and go to Kettner.

D99, of course 54 is too small; 56 or 58 is your fit.

D99,
ok it might be, but conversion tables are conversion tables, everywhere Sicily included. As Wildboar wrote you are for sure in the 56 area, if not in the 58.
I took a look at the sites suggested by Lynn D, usefull.

About the height of the Sicilian People I remember a photo of R.Capa made during the IIWW, with an old Sicilian man that show something to a GI pointing a big stick.
The GI was crouched, the old man was standing up bending a little. Well there was not a big difference of height Wink

Ask and thou shall receive!

Anyway, if you weigh 245lbs, then you are at 110kg, not 105.

In Germany the 25,26,27,28 etc are for short legged guy like me. 30" inseam. The 50, 52, 54,56 etc are for guys like you. Then I think you can get into sizes like 96, 98 etc for basketball players.
