Reading beteen the lines of fallow buck's last posting, it is obvious that some of us are getting bored when we are drawing close to the end of the hunting season ...........(bar roe bucks)

Does anybody here have access to land and clearance for long range rifle shooting in the UK...

What I would love to do is to be able to shoot from 200 yards to shall we say 1000+ yards from a single prone position without moving and without inteference from the public

This way one I can evaluate different loads create ballsitic drop charts for a specific caliber and practice reading the wind.

Bisley is great but too rigid and not what I have in mind.

I know there is a place in the west country that casters for this with steel plates. How about a gruop booking Kiri ????

How about getting a group together for off season training ready for this coming September...........

Perhaps it is the best excuse to travel to North america for this kind of training.............

Let see there is the Can-Am Trap shooting championship in June (Pensylvania)..............

here we go

You would be looking for these people then Ben:

Black Sheep Down

They're a little woolly on the precise details but as people on another brit forum are booking regularly with them it is unlikely you would get fleeced.

If you get a team of 6 together for a weekday would be £187.50, not too baad but you could go stalking for a day with that....

Still i'm up for it , eventually Roll Eyes, if others are game.

Regards,

Amir

And, unless on an official club booking, YOU cannot shoot on the NRA facilities UNLESS you are an NRA Member.

Which is why we should ALL oppose the Olympic 2012 facilities going to Bisley.
