I'm trying to get hold of some Kano Kroil here in the UK. I know Sinclair sell it but I'm not sure they can send it overseas (hazardous goods in transport regulations etc). Does anyone know where I can get some over here?

I've ordered Kroil from both Sinclair and I think from Midway with no problems. In think that as long as the product isn't an aerosol can, it's not a problem sending it overseas?

Reloading Solutions sell it as previous post, as do Norman Clarke Gunsmiths at Rugby.

There shouldn't be any problems with posting from either scource and as I deal with both on a regular basis, I recommend either!

Thank you for your replies gentlemen, I will get on to them in the morning.

Erik, I think it must have been the bit about aerosols in Sinclairs small print that put me off the scent.

I read somewhere that its best used half & half with Schooters choice. Can anyone veryfy this?
I was planning to use it as a deep cleaning for rifle barrels as I don't wish to use ammonia based cleaners.

For the mixture use 25% Kroil to 75% Shooters Choice, you can substitute Hoppes#9 instead of Shooter's Choice. But this said Wipe Out is much faster, and works better

Shooter451,

after using various cleaners over the years, I tend to use only Hoppes Benchrest, Butches Bore shine and very occasionaly JB Bore Paste.

The two liquids seem quite easy on bores and are effective in my rifles at removing copper and powder. I do have a fairly strict and frequent cleaning regime though.
