I'll be watching this with interest. I took a nice chamois in Slovenia last November. Great landscapes, fantastic people, incredible hunting culture.

I organize lots of chamois hunts in Slovenia each year and occasionally Ibex.
It's very expensive everywhere now. A big ibex will be a trophy fee of more than $20k or so.

The quotas in Slovenia are so small and sold out long in advance. The areas I work with are sold beyond 2030.

Austria has many more ibex and quota.
