Does anybody here hawe information about the Münich riflemaker Miller & Greiss.
When did they strted? When did they close down? Where are their records nowadays?

I tried to find some information on Miller und Greiss as well (on the Internet) but couldn't find anything useful on thier history. The only info I have is from "Cartridges of the World" which gives a very brief description of the 9.5x73 Miller-Greiss Magnum cartridge. All it says about the firm is that they operated in Munich during the 1910's and 1920's. I recently posted a question on the Cartridge Collectors category of this forum to request some information on Johann Peterlongo (the Austrian gunmaker from Innsbruck). A member referred me to the book "European Sporting Cartridges" volume 1 by Dixon. The book is out of print but it can still be obtained on the Internet. I don't have the book yet, but I am sure that they would have a section on Miller und Greiss. I am sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck in your search.
