I recived an email about this a few days ago and I thought it was a chain email so did some digging..

It seems the Freepost Address did belong to LACS but has now been "frozen" pending a Police enquiry into complaints of postal fraud by LACS.

So it looks like we've missed the boat on this one, but it will be interesting to see if the Police investigation comes to anything...

What? They're claiming that they never set it up and someone has framed them? Buwahahahahah! Pity we don't have a regulation like that here. PETA, HSUS, and a whole bunch of other nutcases would be in the sights, let me tell you!

Yes they were on printed sticky labels!

As soon as I get an email which says "...now send this to 50 of your friends" alarm bells start ringing as they are usually chain emails and nothing more...

In this case I called up the Post Office and asked them to verify the Free Post address...

They confirmed that it did belong to LACS but that it had been "frozen" pending a Police investigation into "postal fraud"..

I assume LACS were sent so much crap that they complained? Anyway, thats all I could get out of the Post Office, so it looks as if we missed the boat so to speak..
