I have tried on a lot of European hunting clothing since moving over here. Why are the sizes 3 or 4 sizes skinnier than what they are marked, especially in the ass and legs? I have ordered 58s and 60's and I am a 40-42 in American sizes. None fit, even if they fit in the waist the legs are supper thin, and they have no ass.

I have tried: Blaser, Harkila and Merkel. Fjallraven seems to fit, but they have no pockets on the butt, and I don't understand why they are all oil finished.

Might be the diet :-) " Until the day breaks and the nights shadows flee away " Big ivory for my pillow and 2.5% of Neanderthal DNA flowing thru my veins. When I'm ready to go, pack a bag of gunpowder up my ass and strike a fire to my pecker, until I squeal like a boar. You know I am a fattie, but I don't see the point of wearing "skinny jeans" to hunt in. LL Bean's sizing is about a 180 from these. I feel like I am swimming in the pants that have the right waist size.

Look into the Pinewood brand line of hunting clothes. They have stuff to fit bigger guys. A lot of the Swedes I hunt with use their gear.

Pinewood, I'll give it a try. It must be something recent, my old Blaser pants are normal sized.

Chevalier is good brand but very spendy I have bought very reasonable Czech made hunting pants and jacket and they are fairly loose and they were definitely very inexpensive Prague has good store and so does Karlovy Vary " Until the day breaks and the nights shadows flee away " Big ivory for my pillow and 2.5% of Neanderthal DNA flowing thru my veins. I work with 3 men that are over 6'5 and two of them are over 330 pounds. I am 5'11 and 270. Finding clothing in Germany is a challenge. One of them men is a German, and he shops in Holland.

True to that G, but lots of those European brands are very very high quality I use them here in States and those things are almost indestructible " Until the day breaks and the nights shadows flee away " Big ivory for my pillow and 2.5% of Neanderthal DNA flowing thru my veins. I used to travel to Asia a lot when I was in the military. Shoot in and out as they say. We used to call a XL or XXL marked there a schmedium. Was really either a small or medium. I had a suit made in Vietnam, and the guy told me I had to pay twice as much because he used twice as much material as normal.
