I got a Midge net from my local camping store,
http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/li...epellent-net-p110595

lightweight ,cheap and with a little altering mainly a 2 minute sewing job up the thick black edging
takes upto fallow buck size, with head and legs off

not tried it with a red as yet but i feel you may struggle a little
but you could buy 2 and sew/join them both together if you needed too

Make one using 15mm plastic mains water pipe and scaffold netting. Both readily available from your local building supplies outlet.

Cut the pipe to length and heat weld the join to form the ribs and then attach the net using cable ties. Allow a good 500cm over lap on the access.

You can then make them to what ever size you need. Roe, sika or red. Head and feet on, head and feet off.

I made 4 fallow buck size ones for less than £20 about 5 years ago. I've given 3 away over the years to help mates out.
