Does anyone know if Nosler 'make' loaded ammunition is imported into Europe? The bullet 'heads' are available in the UK, but I have been unable to find any information on a supplier of the loaded ammunition. I am looking for .338-06 loaded rounds. Thanks.

In addition to their proprietary bullets, Norma loads factory ammo with Nosler Partition and Ballistic Tip + Swift Scirocco + Barnes Solids. André DRSS --------- 3 shots do not make a group, they show a point of aim or impact. 5 shots are a group.

Robthom, was this the ammo you are looking for?? As opposed to ammo loaded with Nosler bullets, which several manufacturers offer - Norma (as Andre mentioned), Federal, Weatherby (Norma actually...), etc?? I have not seen any of the Nosler Custom Ammo in Europe. But then again, the Continent always seems to be very conservative with the ammo and components offered for sale. I have the feeling the UK is not only better in this respect, but more oriented towards US products?? You could ask at Nosler if they have a European importer for the stuff... - mike ********************* The rifle is a noble weapon... MHO - Yes, I was referring to the Nosler Custom rifle ammunition. Nosler bullets are fairly freely available, they are imported and distributed in the UK. Unfortunately, the two main distributors handle between them the Hornady and Federal ammunition. So, they could not offer a competing brand alongside! There is a bigger problem though. I noticed a statement on the Nosler web pages that they were not exporting the ammunition outside the USA as yet. I hope they do. I have a .338-06. Ok, it is no problem to hand load for this, but what if they ban handloading in the UK as they occaisionally propose? A couple of Christmasses ago, a right sweetie shot dead a traffic policeman doing a routine vehicle check on a parked car. It turned out the killer had an illegal weapon and his personal ammunition reloading equipment stashed in a storage wharehouse. After this, the UK police were pushing for a ban on home loading. It cannot be too long before, for our own safety/national security, home reloading is banned. It would be the death of most non standard / small volume use chamberings.
