Here's another buck I took this season. It had very massive horns, a slightly non typical 7 pointer.

Pictures are not vey good but it is a real beauty, and I expect it to score in the 150CIC range.

It took me a few days to smart out this very wise old fellow....

regards,

Montero

In Spain, Express.
In the Castillean provinces of Burgos, Soria, Segovia and Guadalajara.

Really nice head. Got 10 this far (7 6-pointers), but with much smaller heads (largest weighed in at app 290gram).
Are there agents taking stalkers from abroad in Spain?
I'd much appreciate if you could provide an adress and an indication of the price range.

(A sidenote: If you have access to this kind of roe heads, I know of landowners (in the 3000+ ha range)that would gladly trade for exclusive moose hunting if the interest is there.)

Sierra,

Although by sheer luck one may take a buck like this on the first hour of the first day of hunting and in the most unexpected place, it usually requires a lot of effort and a lot of time to secure such a hunt. It takes many days of leaving a warm bed at 5 in the morning.

To do it for someone else than myself would mean asking for a lot of money, at least in comparison to the usual fares paid.

Except for a very specific stalker, capable of appreciating its value, it is difficult to sell these hunts for what they are worth.

It is recently colonized areas that produce such heads. Bucks, here, appear to be particularly smart and easy to disturb, and they are definately not as abundant as I've found them to be in other countries where I have stalked them like Scotland, Serbia, Slovenia, Poland, and Romania, where one may expect to shoot one buck per outing.

If you feel you may have a further interest please drop me a private e-mail and well see.

best regards,

Montero
