Anyone know anything about these? Price? Quality?

I love the Swiss K-31 rifle and I think I would like this one as well.

Website!

Here's the catalog

I know little and I know no-one that has one.
However, I visited their workshop and I daresay I was absolutely flabbergasted at the quality of the work. Apparently, they're made totally in-house.
Apparently, they're fairly popular in Germany.
The guns are quite heavy, however: Torsti's straight-pull mechanism is robust, indeed.

The Target model retails at 2500 Euros plus - no idea of the price of the hunting models, I'm afraid.

Exampined one that has a fair bit of use - owner is very happy with it and it shoots very well.

Action, doesn't appear to have any primary extraction and really looks like an over grown rimfire action. Not an action I would desire but then I am a mauser man.

Rife as per photos isn't to every one's taste.

My K31 shoots good too, I need to find a scope mount for it when I move back to America.

The rifle has never been issued to a military person. It was pristine and un-issued when I got it, I have shot it about 40 times. Enough to know that I really like it.

Sadly it is hard to like anything else when you compare it to the K-31.

A K-31 makes a R93 or R8 look like a toy.

Waidmannsheil, I like the paint job on your rifle. What scope mounting system did you put on it? EAW?

And what kind of scope is that?

Very nice rifle you have indeed!

And Waidmannsheil for all your wildboars and foxes.

Sometimes it is nice to make it easier to read for those who don't speak English as a first language.

I shoot Hornady ammunition out of my rifle, and I have about 200 RWS cases to reload when I am ready for that.

I bought 10 boxes of Hornady ammunition for the rifle and it shoots it very well.

I will try the RWS and Norma ammuntion for the rifle when I find some.

I'm fascinated with "alternative" bolt action designs...

Would you be willing to explain how the bolt locks up?? the website and literature is not too clear.

Any pics would be appreciated!

Its not a normal bolt action system I would rather concider it as a straigthpull-system system. its is litlle bit same kind of locksystem like in blaser r93. And i am talking about lyng 94 model.
unfortunatly I cant post pic for you because I dont have the gun no more.

Today 308X39 caliber i much cheaper and easier to shoot and i had to change again to bolt-action custom J-Jalonen custom action.
nothing bad to say from them either.

Pics

There is sort of a + shaped locking piece that comes out of the side as you pull back the lever. It's quite big in size.
As far as I know there are no moving parts in the bolt, i.e. the bolt is not the locking device.
