I just might take your word on that.. I hunt in Sweeden and Denmark on a most regular basis. If I can do anything similar for you, let me know.

I am impressed by your generous offers. I have family connections in the U.S.A. (Northern Wisconsin, about 60 miles/100km south of the lower jaw of lake Superior. They have excellent Whitetail Deer hunting at present, probably good for the next couple of years. Their is also a strong scandinavian streak in the ancestors. I'd be happy to arrange a hunt. Because of our traditions, deer season is only 9 days long for firearms, although bow season is a couple of months. The firearm season is traditionaly the week of Thanksgiving (about the 20th of November) and both weekends on either side. Non Resident licenses cost $125, with tags available for does for a little extra. The last I heard, it was $12 extra. We have trouble getting enough hunters there to harvest enough deer. If you could get to Minneapolis and buy a license, I could probably finangle a way to put you up at a relatives house for no cost, if you were interested. Nine days would be about the most I think I could swing. We would expect you to hunt with a local hunting party, and would be able to brief you on the local area and customs.
