Picture of Fallow Buck

Pete,

Thanks for looking anyway. I'll let you know if I hear of anything decent.

What is the going rate on a good wild buck these days?

FB,

I am scared to even think! It a while since I have done much on the Fallow simply because I have got a lease in Scotland with roe and a few red on. I saw that the guy who does Reeves Highseats was advertising fallow stalking in shropshire which is not far from me, so I gave him a call. He wants a 100 a day plus 30 per for a pricket and 15 pr doe...I never bothered asking about the prices for his bucks! While I have a lease, I am not interested in paying those sort of prices to help someone make their cull!
I would really like a nice fallow and had the chance of one out of a local deer park where i used to help out. The estate stalker offered me a chancing at a cracking buck, probably a medal head, for 50, but I don't put much value on a wall hanger taken from a 200acres fenced park! I later heard that a German paid 500 for the same buck and got it with in an hour of entering the park!

So, the long and short of it is I am still looking for an opertunity for a decent myself...

Regards.

Pete
