My initial reaction, uggghhhh, I don't care for the appearance . . . but I'll reserve judgment until I know all the facts. Looks like it might be a takedown, Waidmannsheil, Dom.

I don't think the KR-1 did well at all here- I see the same rifles listed for sale for more than a year or two with no takers.

Now CDNN.com- a firearms liquidater, has them for dirt cheap.

Maybe these will sell better in the USA than the K-1...

Let me tell you, I have a KR-1 and I love it, I don't claim to be an expert on rifles, but I have friends who surely are, and when they've shot and handled my KR1 they have been very impresseed. I've taken it on african safaris and hunted here in the states with it. It's performance is great! Awesome triggers from the factory, very high grade of work! I would totally recommend it to anyone looking for a unique rifle that always starts conversations!

I have KR-1 also. If you can find it for closeout prices and you have been thinking about getting one - buy it!.

Mine is in .270 and shot 3/4" out of the box. I can only echo Oryxhunter1983's staements above.

My old man is a blaser guy and he found it to be the Blasers equal in every respect. As to why it hasn't taken off??? I think that it's just hard to break into the market price/feature range that Blaser dominates with such a similar product.
