I have some of this factory ammunition to zero my new Sauer 202 before I start to perfect handloads for it. What are the bullets performance like on Roe?

I guess like most kraut bullets, like a cluster bomb [Big Grin] I have used it in other calibers and the effect has been that roe deers fall over quick but damage can be heavy if the shoot hit a bit wrong.

I shoot the RWS 105 SP ( T mantle) a the damage is much less than the 96 grs KS. My Blaser shoots the 105's into tight clusters at 100m.

I can't speak for .243 but in my 6.5x57 I love the KS for shooting roe. Surely no cluster bomb effect; it's more like a bunker buster. Always good penetration, good accuracy and no meat damage. Maybe the 6,5 is tougher because it's also used in high velocity 6,5x68 loads.

243 ammo

Last year i used a 243 in scotland but for hinds stalking.

I used some old FN 243 (115 grains) ammo: Very good stuff if you can find them.(I bought them from a german on a fair)

Ordinary Winchester 100 grainers are also very good and will do the job. You don't need to buy expensive ammo because Roebuck needs to be shot on the right place no mather what typ of bullet you use. Also very good and cheap are the PMP bullets from South Africa but i don' know if you can buy them in England.

If you handload: use sierra 100 grs. gameking with the Finish Vithavuori powder N160.
Yuo can find data on their website

SUCCES!
