In sweden we have over 3000 bears official numbers, probably a lot more.
Bear hunt begins in 20august in many areas like dalarna, gavleborg and Jämtland the qvote is filled by only 7-10 days.

How are the prices compare to other places.

I presume they are brown bears RIGHT?

What is the average size ?

The price is very low. Most bear hunting is in areas of about 8000 acres the same as moose hunting. In those areas you hunt as a team, its difficult to sell a bear hunt because of that. Only a few outfitters can provide a bearhunt with good chance to shoot one. In my hunting team only one bear is shot ever(that was last year)i pay about 200Euro/year for moose and bear hunt.
