I posted this on the Bird Hunting forum, but perhaps the chances are better here for someone familiar with this gun?

I just came over a nice used O/U, 12/3"shotgun from the Italian firm Fausti Stefano (run by the three beautifull sisters )

I have looked trough their web site, but can´t find this model, presumably an older one?

The shotgun is in good shape, thight and with ok wood and etched flower/scroll.

Any info would be very much apreciated.

Hi Arild!

What is it you want to know?

Our local shop is the UK importer and I can probably get answers to most stuff.

Arild,

I might be off by a mile and for that I am sorry but as for what my rather poor memory reports, Fausti used to buy parts in the white from Perazzi and Beretta to make there improved versions of there shotguns,

looking at the gun, it has some striking resemblans with the model 55/56 beretta actions, however so much more refined and likable,

for me and at a decent price I would love to have that gun.

Inpatiantly awaiting IanF:s word on the matter.

Best regards

Chris

Ian.
I just bought this shotgun, and even though it is used it feels thight and fine.

I´m just interested in some info, but as long as I dont know the model it is probably like looking for the needle in the haystack?
The serial # is A85xxx.
Is this just another ordinary middle of the road shotgun, or did I fall upon something more interesting?
Edit: On the underside by the triggerguard are the letters "ICAM", might be a model name or some other code?

Chris.
I am a novice regarding shotguns so your info is welcome.
Hopefully I did an ok deal...

Arild

I spoke to Barbara Fausti a few days back (she is the lovely one at the front of the promo pics) - and she would be happy to let you have all detail from the factory records.

If you PM me the full serial number - we can get you sorted.
