So, the other half speaks of skiing in January in Zell am see, Austria. I don't ski so to pass the time I have two choices: 1, become a dypsomaniac in the local bars 2, find a diversion that involves shooting. Is there any to be had around this time of year near such a resort and if so can some kind soul recommend some contacts please?

January most al except Fox hunting is closed in Salzburg. There are some very good Chamois and Red Stag hunting places near Zell am See. In December hunting is open.

I have only been there in the summer but a stunning part of Austria in my opinion.

Czech repuplic is possible to hunt in to 15jan.
