Another Stunning Wild Stag

As lots of AR members know we run some Stag stalkigin inthe Galloway hills in Scotland. Whilst success rates per outing are lower than the traditional Highland stag stalking experience there is a real chance of getting onto a beast of a lifetime.

Over the last couple of years we have taken it easy on the stags and the results are now coming through in the form of some absolute bruisers showing up. Last year we had 2 x 14 pointers and yesterday we took this old broken 15 pointer.

A great stag and I'm really proud of my team and the effor they have put in to raising the quality on the ground.

For all of you AR friends that have been up the Garroch and nursed to aches/pains afterwards you will know how hard won this stag would be.

Beautiful beast that I know was well earned! The Garroch is rougher than some mango swamps I have thrashed through.

We were just above there when you had a left and right with the good old 7 Mag. I dug the photos out just last week. I hope you are keeping well and some great memories had by all.
