Some days ago I was browsing thru some old posts here on AR and heard of the bore cleaner Wipe out, so I order a can to try it out and,
Thanks Griff.
The can of Wipe Out, arrived yesterday and I already cleaned my 300WM Sako with it and it works like a charm.
I have been using Forrest bore cleaner and Hoppe´s no9 bench rest, but this stuff is much better.

I am also a huge fan because it works as advertised...at least for me.

That's very interesting, I've tried both Wipe out and forrest and I can't see a difference.
Why exactly was wipe out so much better for you?

I'm not disputing it, I heard this a few times from various people. Was it quicker, less messy, did it clean more thoroughly or did it take fewer applications?

I've found that they both perform about the same in my rifles but some people show a marked preference for Wipeout.

I shoot a lot with my rifles, and copper fouling has been my main problem and the fact that I am a lazy sob, means that a quicker, fewer applications is what I am looking for. I newer use brushes only VFG felt pads.
