Hi, I wonder if those rifles are still manufactured; maybe some members from Sweden or Scandinavia have the reply. Thanks.

CG design is manufactured under licence right there in Italy by Zoli. Supposedly the quality is not that high, but i've handled the Zoli AZ1900 and it seemed and felt like really solid and good piece of craftsmanship. The original Carl Gustafs are not manufactured anymore as far as i know.

Damn, you got me all confused. troll
I thought i knew for sure it was Carl Gustaf, but now i'm not so certain anymore. I may have mixed up the two. What kind of CG's are you thinking of? The old military 6.5's?

I think it's (was) called mod. 2000; I fear that it's no more manufactured. The last importation in Italy was several years ago. If I recall correctly, the chamber was not cut but hammered together with the rifling. Anyone from Sweden???

The Carl Gustaf name is stamped on a number of guns these days, none of them are of swedish orgin. The (old) CG 2000 was a bolt-action made in Sweden, it is no longer manufactured. There is a rifle sold as the "CG 2000" today, but that's just a renamed H&K automatic.

I had on of the "old" CG 2000 rifles, it was a sweet shooter but came along with some problems with the magasine and feeding, a comon problem with that model I have heard.

The 1900:series are being made by Zoli these days and they are actually on par with the old Husqvarnas, but as I am a Swede I will not admitt to that even under torture Wink

Hovever I wonder why any one would like 1930:s design in a modern copy, there are other guns better suited for modern hunting, find a original one like this one.

They are called a Dahlbergare and where a inhousecostum rifle...

Pretty darn nice to according to those that own one.

Best regards Chris.
