Cynical I know, but I hope the Police and the powers that be are seriously investigating the possibility that this is deliberate.....

Since the last outbreak we've been informed the suspect drains have been relined and no longer pose a risk and as no other obvious causes were found, I am very suspicious about all this..

The BBC News is now breaking the story that a second new suspected case is being investigated at a Scottish animal center...

here is a copy of the e-mail that has been sent to the stalkers that will be participating on the Arran stalking scheme:

Dear Stalker

Unfortunately, another Foot and Mouth Disease outbreak has been confirmed in Surrey.
We therefore ask you not to travel to the Isle of Arran until we have had further advice from FC Sctoland if deer shooting in Scotland is going to be banned.

We will get back to you immediatley when we have any updated information.

If the outbreak in Lanark (Scotland) is confirmed then I think we can kiss the stalking scheme on Arran goodbye for this year!!
