Just a quick reminder chaps that now that the season is coming to close to make time to get out there and check your high seats/ stands for soundness for the season ahead.

I know we are all supposed to check before climbing into them but the cursory glance of the hunter anxious to get in position is not always enough.

I had a scary falling out of one yesterday that looked ok at first glance, my right knee is now banged up pretty solid but it was dropping the rifle that really hurt! Frowner Mad

Stay safe Gentlemen, we don't need any of this sort of thing, ok?

All the more reason to check those seats out, if some little scrote who shouldn't even be there is hurt as a result of something that is adjudged to be within the ambit of the occupier to reasonably warn or prevent the occurrence whereof, notwithstanding the common law offence of trespass on the part the interloper nevertheless a claim in tort may be brought against the occupier, his servants or subsidiaries whereof.

That's fifteen bob please Brian.

Interesting how fall restraints(harnesses) are encouraged so much in hunter's ed etc, on this side of the pond, but not over there. I know the seats here are often smaller and bow oriented(you have to stand up to shoot), but it's not something I ever thought about in the UK.

I may have made some remarks on some subjects unconnected with you or your associates as part of a series of hypothetical thought exercises performed for my own personal amusement, but legal advice?

No.

Expensive is legal advice.
