Don´t know Ben, but something says Spain in the back of my head...
Anyway, no wonder that animal activists are getting support among people, when they show videos like this as proof of what stalking is about Frowner

I think so too. I couldn't watch the hole video. Really bad stuff..
In a world were anti-hunting is growing this is really bad news.
I think hunters need to be honest that sometimes things go wrong and one wounds animals. But I guess all anti-hunting organization think all hunters are like this.

Disgusting! Such behaviour is punishable with a loss of right to hunt and confiscation of hunting weapons in Norway. And rightly so.

I did not psot this to spread muck
I was passed this fottage by distant relative who is a avid shooter / competitor in the states.

This video is doing the rounds between clubs and shooters and proposed to be European style hunting.

My relative knows my feelings about this hence he sent it to me.

I just wish somebody can delete it somehow.

Things are usually a week or 2 advance in the US when it comes to internet stuff. I think it wont be long before it spreads in Europe.....

I really wished someone snatched that rifle from that idiot and you know the rest of it.Should never be allowed to hunt again.i could hear shouting in the back ground .

Difficult to watch without being affected. That poor beast.

It's obviously footage of a driven hunt conducted somewhere in mainland europe. UNFORTUNATELY animals do get wounded on driven hunts by rifles that try to shoot outside of their capability; animals even end up wounded by good shots on driven hunts it's the nature of the beast so to speak.

He who has never wounded an animal of any sort with shotgun or rifle please feel free to take the high ground here. When it does happen we endevour to do our best to get that animal grassed by hook or by crook. I would hazard a guess that any wounded animal on a driven hunt is followed up by tracker dog and dispatched asap by the keeper/stalker.

This said it is indeed a very poor piece of footage with poor marksmanship to show anywhere in the public domain.

Gerry,

I think you hit the nail on the head...

I would love to go over to Europe to hunt boar, but as most of the hunts are driven hunts, and I know my shooting is simply not good enough, I have never gone.

For myself, any hunts for boar would either need to be stalking or from highseats as I know otherwise the risk of wounding a beast is too high and that to me is not acceptable..

Regards,

Peter
