Last week I spent a few days working and hunting in Sussex and Scotland. First up was an invitation to hunt Fallow.



I then spent a couple of days in the highlands chasing stag. The trip was great and I got to break in the new Rigby "Highland Stalker."



I shot a couple of nice stags with our new rifle.



This was true highland stalking for wild stags. What a joy to be in amongst them with all of the roaring! I can't wait to go back next year!

Kent - that last stag is a ripper, where were you in Scotland? I like the new hair!

I was staying in and hunting out of Pitlochry. The first stag was taken at Glen Lyon and the second one at Glen Tromie.

That's a rifle we have been working on for a while. The idea being a Rigby stalking rifle, without the iron sights that we usually build for our standard rifle. While it is not a traditional Rigby, it is very accurate.

It's a stunner!
