I have shot a trail and owns a M03 delux. I have 02 barrels 9.3 x 62 in 50cm solid and also similar profile in 222
Handling is fantastic and is meant for tracking wounded beasts and close quaters stuff.
Slight on the heavy side but remember you can get it in 404 jeffrey for buffalo so its your call really depends on what you want to do..........with it

They are owned by the same parent company. So finishing and accuracy is the same. I own both "shooting systems".
I would say very slight technical advantage towards Blaser since the scope mounts to barrel directly but the original mauser mount returns true to zero so have a seperate scope mount for each caliber. There are no issues once you have built your confidence to trust that your setup will be on target for hunting purposes.
The Blaser system is relatively lighter but without a drop out magazine hence on classical driven hunts in central Europe you will have to disarm by chambering multiple live rounds through the chamber which is not good idea. Capacity is also lower on the Blaser system as compared to the Mauser again a confidence thing
Acccuracy wise both systems are the same. period.
Handling definitely Mauser has an edge in terms of muzzle flip when repeated shots are needed on a running / wounded game in close quaters (CQB) in the states correct ?
I know Robert Sajitz (Technical director of mauser) well and he recommended the solid short barrel profile for certain calibers which really make this system shine and hence the trail.
In 9.3 x 62 it is really perfectly suited for brown, polar black bears on foot, cape, leopard treed on dogs and driven boar (hogs) with 19.5 inch barrel. as compared to 23 inches lsos of 180 - 200 fps at most.
So there you are your choice...............
Another thing is snob value
If you go to a European classical driven hunt
Most titled estate land owner shoots a Mauser system. Seasonal hunters shoot a blaser / sako / Heyme / Tikka / various doubles and drillings
This above sumation was related to me by a german "Jagd master" whom I hunted with on a number of occasions ........very class concious these germanns if I may say so.
Don,t think you have that issue in the states except at Dallas gun club right ?............
