At the mid, +/-, of June, precisely on 18,19 and 20 of June, there will be the the Game Fair of Chambord. It could be a meeting occasion, sufficiently far in the time to manage a long weekend in France.

I missed Rambouillet Game fair. Can you tell me if this is bigger? If it is any good, I hope to be there if I finish my exams in time

I've never been at Rambouillet Game Fair, but at the Game fair of Chambord there is the possibility to visit the Castle, where there is also a Musee de la Chasse, if I remember well, in addition to the evetns and activities.
In 1998 there were a good number of stands, horse hunting equipes with large dog packs, horn players groups, bagpipers, because that game fair was dedicated to Scotland..... a very pleasant memory.
The only problem that I have is that I don't find the site of the organization.
