Why can't we have one of these?

I'm going to write my MP and EMP, suggesting we have ours on Oct 1st every year.

A great idea - unfortunately it would require someone in our illustrious Government to commit him/herself to the fieldsports camp.

I may have grown into a cynic - but fancy that there are very few who would be prepared to take the associated flak.
