has anyone seen or heard of this call?
allegedly if this hare call is blown hard, it can be used to call sika.
i have no experience of sika, but heard one whistling last week on my ground. i hope to get out again next saturday and have no idea on tactics, other than switching to the .308 getting up somewhere high!

I have used a squeeker from a dog toy - blown hard and tailing off it gives sufficient volume to attract attention.

I have had Stags come at the charge but only once the rut was well under way. Have also managed to pull a stag out of the centre of a bunch of hinds allowing a clear shot.

So, give it a go - but only once the whistling is well under way!
