This one and a couple of his mates went for Sashimi. It amazes me that in our waters we catch such beautifully coloured fish. Rgds, K

Looks Tasty! As long you didn't catch it in the Thames... Great quote btw!

Kiri, what is that, a black bream? Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not out to get you....

Yep, I had a last minute call from the charter skipper we use in Brighton that he had a couple of spaces free so we went out last Sunday (Dig and I). We had about 10 bream between us (mainly Dig), but I did manage the biggest fish of the day on the boat. It was great fun fishing with a light spinning rod and ultra fine braid, so when this one took the bait I wasn't sure what I'd hooked!! They eat really well especially grilled on the BBQ. This one was filleted and boned and after a quick turn in the pan with some lime and pepper was put in a sandwich for lunch. The others I kept were turned into Sashimi which kept the fishing permit officer happy. K

Wow, that one looks really stunning. Haven't been fishing for ages, actually since I finally was handed out my hunting-licence... Will add it to my to-do's =)
