I hunt badgers and racoon dogs in Finland on a regular basis. The dog goes down the lair, and one dig down to them, wait until they show up in the tunnel and finish them off with a .22LR.



It's a weird kind of hunting, nothing like it.

Here's a terrier I hunted with last winter who had a permanent smile attached to him by a badger.

I belive hobbits lives in burrows.

I have a friend how eats badger meat, he says the chops are fat and nice. I have never tried it, bit afraid of trikiner(Parasite)

Have never shot one myself, plenty of them, just that have never managed to bump into one while carrying a loaded gun!
