Back in the mid 1990's I attended a large hunting show in Vienna. Is this held every year in the city? If so, does anyone know when the next one will be. Thanks in advance

The next JASPOWA www.jaspowa.at is from 22-25.2.2007 in Vienna. This show is only every two years. The bigest hunting show in Austria is the Hohe Jagd in Salzburg www.hohejagd.at and is every year 9.-11.2.2007 .

9.3,

bwana's spot-on.

Not that we are biased but find the Salzburg Show to be the best opportunity for us to have a presense.

It's also lends itself well to being at the Dortmund Show and then doing Salzburg shortly thereafter.

Thank you both for the informatoin - it was exactly what I was looking for. I did not make it to the one in Salzburg but it sounds like it is the one to attend. Thanks again.

I've registered for both Dortmund and Hohejagd. Would be interested to know how many others here on the forum have done the same.
I'm looking forward to it. Although I have logistics of moving taxiderrmy etc from Dortmund to Salzburg and then back to Germany again.

Currently the only option for OUTFITTERS and those who are REALLY interested/serious about displaying their product(s) and obtaining Clients is Dortmund followed by Salzuburg.

Anything else is money wasted.....life is all about choices.

Well, I won´t say so. IWA is only for resellers and professionals... I have a lot of meetings planed yet there with people out of the gun business, so...
I hope the best for making some good deals...

The Vienna show only runs every two years, which is not perfect for building client relationships, but it is timed close to Dortmund and Salzburg, so many go anyway. haven't been there myself.
