Hi, I have been talking to Marianne about me joining the group hunt to southern Greenland in August 2007. Anyone been on that hunt for Norwegian Reindeer? She told me they are blocked off from the Peary Caribou on the north end of the island by a 100 mile wide icefield, and 8000 foot mountain. Anyone got any knowledge? I know the camp is owned by a Icelander.

Seth, Thanks for clearing that up. I thought you might be talking of Marianne from Gilligans Island!

Are you going to be hunting from Stefáns herd? If that is the case, you will not be dissapointed, a lot of Icelanders go there every year. Skype username solvijoh

Solvi, Yes, I think so. It was E2500 last year for 2 bulls. Airfair is about E1000 from Cope. Maybe cheaper if you overnight in Reyk huh?
