Not sure myself.. I've seen this buck every year for the last 5-6 years. He's been bigger..

Photos I always find are very hard to judge as its hard to get a perception of other aspects like, skull size etc

Secondly you never know until it is on the scales. Some bucks weigh some don't and the weight as you know is a massive factor.

Would you believe these two bucks weighed the same??

You know very well that you will not manage to shoot him this year either Anders Wink
I have told you before that you need me to come and shoot him for you Wink

He is clearly on the downhill slope now and you really need to get him soon, because he most likely don't have many years left.

Anders, I would put him on my wall any day.

He is past his prime as you say in any case.

Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not out to get you....

Ok, guys, I'll have to shoot him then Big Grin

I've tried.. I've had many sleepless nights dreaming about this buck.. He's more or less been teasing me, staying on the neighbouring ground during hunting season. Thankfully no hunting there. This year though I might be able to hunt those grounds... 5 days left until opening day Smiler

that's why the trophy fee system based on weight drives me crazy. what you see isn't what you pay for. how in the devil are you supposed to guess weight. the 2 skulls shown are perfect examples. same cost but my preference would be the one on the right
