| Your outfitter or guide should be able to offer advise. Personally I would leave the gun at home as Spain generally offers good rental guns (or has everytime I've been) |

| We went in December. It was quite simple to get the permit. When I get to the office, I will see if we have the forms that we sent to the embassy.
The outfitter should know all of the details. If they do not, I would suggest you find another outfitter. |

| PM me your e mail address. My assistant says that we have a copy. I will e mail it to you along with the contact at the embassy. For some reason, I think it has to be sent to Chicago but I am not sure. |

| Here is a link to the forms at the SF consulate. I looked up the Miami consulate and they do not have the same links online for some reason. maybe they simply do not offer that service at that consulate. http://www.exteriores.gob.es/C...cios-consulares.aspxYou can at least get an idea of what they will be requesting and get the info ready. If they don't respond, I'd call San Francisco and see what they say. Once you have that letter its pretty simple. You'll have to stop at the police station right outside of the exit (after baggage claim) and have them review your consulate letter, outfitter letter, check serial numbers, etc... I assume the outfitter will be there to meet you and go into the police office with you? |
