A friend of mine has invited me to visit him in Tuscany. He's not a hunter but did mention that there is boar and deer hunting in the area. He has even seen them in his garden !

I would appreciate any info on what is available to hunt, seasons, permits, how the hunting is conducted etc.

yes ther'is a lor of game in Tuscany, roe deer and wild boar mostly.
But is almost impossible to obtain the license for carry firearms here in Italy for a foreigner.
I suggest you to go in a private property. If you want i can send you an address.
