This happened: There was a driver in the truck but thankfully he survived with no more than a few broken bones. I bet he blew a hole in his underpants though...

WOW! It's a long way to the bottom of the fjord! There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t. – John Green, author

It looks like the driver of the 18 wheeler suddenly made a turn to the right into the guard rails Or maybe it was just another driver from eastern Europe driving on slicks when coming to winter Norway I bet the driver of the tow truck was happy he managed to jump out

Lorries, semies, busses, even tow trucks, you name it, here on the north western coast of Norway they are are laying in the ditches on almost every road. A sudden snowfall seems to have taken all by surpise, and roads are closed because of car accidends or avalanches. At my place we got close to 40 cm wet snow during 48 hours, but a bit further inland closer to the mountains, they report both a meter and a meter and a half... My friends sayes I have a ugly car, but these days I just love my pick up truck and have helped several cars out of trouble Arild Iversen.

I thought this only would happen in Sweden every late fall, everyone is "surprised" the snow came again this year, just like all others. And the amount of cars in ditches and other inopportune placed are just insane. However one has to hand it to the Norse, they know how to throw a great show and tell. I am just glad the driver made it out with nothing more than a bone or two broken. /Chris
