Please try Reloading Solutions in Oxford, they have all the powder you may need and deliver next day, very reliable.

Reloading Solutions are excellent indeed but abide by the law and hence will not post powder. Those companies that do post are in fact doing so by not declaring the HazMat nature to the carrier.

Sportsman in Devon will send by carrier

Without wishing to start or engage in an argument, Reloading Solutions list powder and carriage in their most recent price list. The last time I ordered powder from them, it was delivered by post (courier). Their position may have changed since my last purchase, I tend to buy in bulk to get "best" price and annually.

Gents,

I think you're both talking about the same thing here. I called Reloading Solutions a few weeks back looking for softpoint heads and got chatting about post ect and they do use carriers for certain items and if I call correctly it meant that there was a minimum charge of 24...

Listening to the guys talking at Minsterly, I think they have got to the stage where it pays them to drive up to Tim Hannans themselves...

I have heard one or two rumours about why this has been tightened up, but 1894 has the jist of it right in that certain people in the industry were simply putting powder and expanding bullet heads in the post and not declaring them.

Regards,

Pete

I was on the phone to Aftab a month or so ago and he told me he was thinking of opening a retail outlet on the NW side of Oxford. I hope it works for him.
