Just returned from a fantastic hunt arranged by Caracal here aka Dennis. Our outfitter Velik was an excellent host and obviously an experienced PH. Couldn't ask for a more well-organized hunt from the pickup to the drop-off. Both of us got our birds and they're at the taxidermist now. Accommodations and food were great. Hunting capercaillie in the spring is unlike anything I've done and evidently opportunities are vanishing quickly.

I highly recommend this hunt and caracal if you're an avid bird hunter. Bulgaria is a beautiful country with a fascinating history (like most European countries). Great food and beer back in Sofia on the cheap too!
