dbltap,

I hunted in Germany with a Jaeger a few years back and didn't take any test, he just took copies of my NAHC membership card and my hunting license. The hunting is very restricted and you can't shoot on the skyline or near a property boundary, also certain areas have no shooting after noon.

carcano 91,

The area I hunted in closed at noon when the horns sounded.
I'm only speaking of what happened on the hunt I took. I know of no hunt in the USA where they blow a horn and you stop hunting. I realize that it is heavily populated in Germany so the no shooting on the skyline but we just returned from hunting Antelope on a 10 mile square ranch where you could shoot anywhere you wanted because there was nothing out there buy wide open space. This was what I was
refering to in my previous post. The area I hunted allowed no shooting along the property lines!!! I don't know why but that's the way it was so don't dispute my post.
