Night vision from Dedal, Fjällraven clothes, Meindl boots, a very neat HS precision rifle, Grulla shotguns, new Ruger Hawkeye Compact and Ultralight rifles with great triggers (I want one in 7 mm-08 or .260 Rem!), a very friendly and knowledgeable gentleman at the Barnes stand (my son loves that mushroomed bullet he gave me), Leupoldt binoculars and especially rifle scopes plus that tiny range finder with ballistic calculator.

Ahh fjällräven,

they are really coming along great, still have a ways to go before they reach Norrona/klättermusen level but still.

For those in the dark the last to brands are top of the line gear from Norway, those pesky norweigans are great at that stuff.

I wish I hade an unlimited account for gear, I mean I have the needs.

To those lucky enough to get to the IWA, I hope you all had a great time.

Best regards Chris

Come on Chris, we are not that pesky are we Wink

Long time fan of Fjallreven, but not familiar with their hunting apparel.

In my neck of the woods, Norrøna rules, with Harkila a close runner up.

I also like the Meindl boots.
A bit on the stiff side, but great when dealing with rough terrain.

By the way...got a good test of my new 375 Ruger.
The factory ammo from Hornady gave 860 mps with the 270 grs bullet and 800 mps with the 300 grs.
Cant´t match that with handloads I guess...

Arild, congratulations on your new toy; that's a neat range installation indeed. How distant are the farthest targets? I bet you didn't have any barrel overheating problem Big Grin

Thank´s Wildboar.
No, the temperature were under control Smiler

The nearest targets set in the snow are 50 m, the next one is 100m, the one all the way back is 200m.

This is a pretty much standard range for competition shooting with 100 and 200m targets.
Usualy equiped with electronic targets, letting you see your hits on a 12" screen next to you.

This is what the range looks like seen from the 100m targets.
A really nice set up.
(sorry for hi-jacking your thread londonhunter...)

Arild- no you are right, at least not for the most part.

Nice range that is, I wish we could have ranges like that in Sweden.

Best regards Chris

oh no, not more useless cartridges.
wonder if these are the same as .300, .338 and .375 Norma Magnum.

haven't heard of Klättermusen, but Norrøna and Bergans are great in my opinion.
btw, i had to look up pesky in a dictionary.

Steffen- I belive that your questions is valid and that the answer is unsure,

according to one source they all have normal magnum belts and catridge bottom size,

So it´s still to tell about that.

I am most interested in the 338 Norma Mag as a long range target rifle and perhaps hunting rifle to, best regards Chris

Yes thumbs up for that thumb as I was looking for a 338RUM but the Norma would probably be more expensive on brass as it's made out of the 416Rigby

Thanks Bjarne

Not realy...

Swarovski is delivering their new high magnifition Z6(i) scopes
http://www.titanium-gunworks.d...fernrohre/index.html

and they have a 60 years birthday offer for binoculars with VERY LOW PRICES:
http://www.titanium-gunworks.d...i-edition/index.html

from the gun manufacturers there was nearly nothing - just the new camo stock for the Sauer 202 which was looking interesting, but that was all...
