Gentlemen, please don't get excited. This was a Dr giving her view's on a subject. Chances are she has just got, or is after getting something published, or funding for a project. I never saw the piece on the TV but it would appear that she advocated the use of round nosed knives and showed an example of one, which was a drop point.

If these Dr's have got such a lot to say and feel they need to give the Government advice, then I would respectfully suggest that it be on the state of the National Health Service. Tell the Government things they do not want to hear and stop trying to gain points by coming out with what has the potential to be a short lived sensational, media attractive piece.

How about they demand better driver training and heavier penalties for maniac motorist's, how many people do they put in hospital? Then there is the demon drink, how many motoring crimes, and knife related crimes, are as a result of drink. Perhaps we should poll a few chef's and get their opinion on these matters.

Think I shall have a drink and go for a drive, nobody seems to mind much.

John
