A little off topic but I'm hopeing the European hunters might be able to help. I've just sent off a check for a Dumoulin Rifle in 338 Win. Mag, hard to believe I'm buying a non-Browning but at least it's Belgian made. Anyone familiar with these that can offer comments, anything I need to look out for after I receive it? It's the Mannlicher stock model built on an FN action. Looking through my reference books I only found a very short reference saying they were essentially handmade rifles.

I know I won't be able to get published velocities out of the short barrel but I'm planning on useing heavy for caliber bullets with fairly mild loads as my brush gun.
Thanks,

Don't worry...you will be happy with your purchase.
They have been building fine toys for a long time.
I just sold one in a 416 Rigby to a client.
