We got off to a slightly late start today but the AR Euro' Forum weekend has gone well so far with 17 Muntjac shot in the first two hours of hunting.

Dinner is now over and the hour of bullshit and tall tales has arrived. 05:30 start tomorrow for Muntjac, then a day's hare shooting on Euston estate for some of us, before more Muntjac. Happy days!

Not sure what the final tally was in terms of deer but good fun had by all and Tommy took great pleasure in shooting more than Gerry and winning the sweepstake for most deer and biggest buck!!

It was great to see everyone again and congrats to all the guys who took their first deer and first muntjac.

I would highly recommend it to any forum members who is considering coming

K if you are organising some thing in the future along the lines of what we discussed please reserve a

place or two

Also please endorse the shot I made 411 yards fluke

It was a great weekend and nice to put faces to so many illustrious (or notorius) AR names.

Amir - I can swing by the Hall next week and pick up your boots as we're at Euston on a hare shoot again. Ring Alan and get them put to one side.

Adam.

I think the AR-hunt was a great success. My brother and I had a great time.
We shot 4 muntjacs each.

It was a great pleasure to meet the others and I really hope we can do a group hunt again.

Special Thanks to Kiri&Adam for oganizing the hunt tu2

Waidmannsheil to all who were successful.

Good to hear someone "out shot" Gerry. dancing

If Tom Winkle ended up on top this year, at least the top spot stays with a Yank. Wink

Kiri, sorry we could not get together in Reno this year, but it looks like you have been having fun none the less!

Gentlemen,

Another AR Weekend has passed and it was indeed a very good time.

It was a pleasure to meet, greet & hunt with all the "ususal suspects" and new faces. Sadly, some of the our Charter Members have passed away or for whatever reason were not able to attend; hopefully we'll be able to share expereinces in The Field again soon.

The Munjac population at Great Livermere is obviously doing well as the number of Muntjac harvested was again, outstanding.

From Rodney-Bob, Dolan-Bob, Winkelmeister & myself a hearty Waidmannsheil to Kiri & Adam for organizing a superb weekend.

clap

Cheers,

Number 10

Well, it was great to read about it since I couldn't be there.
The sight of all those Hares & Munties makes my mouth water too.
Sadly, 2012 was a bit of a hunting write-off for me since I was tied up with a complex three-way house move.
I only barely managed to meet my cull obligations, did only 1 day of wing shooting and damaged my beloved 308 by falling on it whilst coming off a Devon hill in the pitch dark and pouring rain after trying to shoot the blasted deer that was nibbling the tops out of my Christmas trees.

However, that's behind me for the most part and I am hoping to pick up the threads of more normal life this year.

First stop is to re-zero the rifle and then a trip out to Lithuania to see Saulius's new house and hunt some Boar in May.
I've bought a fishing boat too and am planning to lure Kiri and Solvi out for some serious wreck fishing in Torbay at some point.
Nice to read that you guys had good fun and good hunting, looking forwards to meeting up with you all at some point ;0)

Dave,

I'm glad to hear hat life is returning to normality for ou again.

A spot of fishing is definitely a reason to come and visit with old friends so I will look forward to that.

If you are in the London area this weekend give me a call and you can come hare shooting this weekend.
