There is a best practice event day at Balmoral. This is a great chance to learn and meet like minded people.While i know there are a lot of chaps from over seas on the site but if you are here at the end of oct for the red or sika rut maybe. Here is a free event that might interest you. For those from this country who have never been to a BPD i would certainly recomend it.

I have hunted twice the Deeside country for roebucks. The first time we visited Balmoral we had to stop the car to let a 80+ herd of red deer nonchalantly cross the road. Very impressive.
More interesting is the Ballater outdoors shop, for typical Scotish garments, accesories and fly fishing. An absolute must.
