Last year, in a gun shop, I had in my hands a Roessler Titan rifle in cal 270WSM; I found it very well made and good looking; I was really tempted to buy it. The price was reasonable too. I'm curious to see if someone has first hand experience. Both brands are almost unknown, here.

The story of Voere is more complicated than I can get my head around. There are Voere rifles manufactured in Germany as well as in Kufstein Austria. If you can read German, this page contains a brief history of the company: http://www.voere.de/html/geschichte.html As far as I know, there is currently a company in Kustein producing under the Voere name. The English page does not display here at work for me, but maybe it does for you?? http://www.voere.de/ The Voere rifles are quite popular on my local range, and are of good quality - probably comparable to Steyr. Voere rifles used to be imported to the US and sold under the name "KDF" (if memory serves). There were sold with an accuracy guarantee (1" ??) - quite unusual for a factory rifle at the time. - mike ********************* The rifle is a noble weapon... It entices its bearer into primeval forests, into mountains and deserts untenanted by man. - Horace Kephart
