I have a 20 gauge double bbl. that had been in my family for over 50 years. It shoots Brenneke slugs to 35 yards as good as a double barrel rifle. I would like to take a deer and a wild pig or two with it. Does anybody here have any experience with the 20 gauge Brenneke on game. I have taken deer and pigs with 12 gauge slugs. Thanks.

I belive there is no big difference, only 20 gauge is in many cases more accurate what I know.

450 No2 I remember shooting my first wild boars, back in the early seventies, with my Arrieta 20ga. side by side loaded with Brenneke slugs. Longest shot ever taken was at around 25 or 30 yards, and at that range it was effective. Bullets would pass through on broadside shots. montero

montero thanks for the info. I'll have to give this little 20 gauge double a try on some pigs and a deer this season.
