What sort of skis and boots do Scandinavian and European hunters use when hunting in winter. Are you on modern touring type skis or the much more traditional type wooden ski with a walking boot type boot and strap binding.

In northern Sweden we have use for different pair of skiis my traditional Tegsnäs are used in the early winter december-january then its soft powder snow, my newer backcountry touring skiis are used later in the season for mountain hunting on packed snow. I also have a pair of TSL modern snoeshoes for late season forest and mountain hunting.
