Just found out that I'll be driving to Munich this afternoon (from Zurich) and will have some time free tomorrow. I know Frankonia and I've been to the Hunting and Fishing museum previously. Does anyone have any other quick suggestions for gunshops in or around Munich?

Hi Stu C!

Sorry, but with Frankonia and the Hunting and Fishing Museum you have pretty much already seen all the highlights.

There are some small local dealers but since Kettner has closed its store in Munich thats about all there is...

Munich is a nice city - you will enjoy your stay anyway!

All the best,

elwood.

Hi StuC

Nice to get news from You. I regret our planned driven hunt didn’t occur.
I think I never missed to have a Bier at “Hofbrauhaus†whenever I went to Munchen. Once I even enjoyed Pilsen and Munchen the same day. One must have a serious liver. Eeker
My Best wishes. jb

JB,
Just arrived home. The time I "thought" I'd have to myself on Saturday morning vanished after I went into recovery mode from Friday night's excesses.

Oh well, at least Friday was fun.
